Scholastic Book Fair... Coming November 12-15, 2024

Dear Woodland Forrest Family,

It is that “Time of Year” again... BOOK FAIR. This semester our children will enjoy a Scholastic Book Fair in the
school library November 12-15. This will be from 8:15-2:15 Tuesday –Thursday and 8:15-12:00 Friday for the
in-school sale. Students will have opportunities to come with their classes and shop at the book fair at
scheduled times as well as come after their lunch periods for a quick stop. We encourage students to make
wise purchases with their monies and try to assist them in selecting books. Here are a few items to mention
about a Scholastic Book Fair:

Since this is a Scholastic Book Fair, parents have the option to set up an eWallet with a set amount of funds to

Sales Tax

All sales atthe school book fair will include sales tax as required by Alabama Law. Since Scholastic is a vendor,
the company is required to collect any sale tax from all items sold at all fairs. This is a preset register that
calculates sales tax for each purchase.

Payment Types

Purchases may be made with eWallet gift cards, cash, or credit cards. There will be no cash back from checks,
credit cards or eWallet certificates.
Parents are welcome to attend with their children. Please see the teacher class times for appropriate times to
visit to minimize interrupting academic instruction.
