Reading Makes Your Mind Bloom!
The Library is filled with wonderful books for students to enjoy. This year students have enjoyed reading the Jory John books. So far The Sour Grape has been a schoolwide favorite!
Successful students make reading a daily habit, even if it's just for 15–30 minutes. They read at home, in school, and during free time. They explore different genres, including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and graphic novels. They engage with books that match their interests while also challenging themselves with new topics.
The Library offers a wide variety of books on various reading levels. Students and teachers are welcomed to make suggestion on reading material to add to the collection. We encourage our students to read a variety of subjects to broaden their horizons.
Students come as a class weekly and are welcome to come intermittently during the week as their teachers permit.

Books for sale
Sometimes the library host events for students and parents such as the Spelling Bee. This year's was an intense Bee as it lasted over an hour and 20 minutes. It was a fight to the end.
Twice a year The Forrest Library hosts a book fair. This year we hosted one in the fall and one at the end of February. Students enjoy visiting the book fair to shop and learn how to utilize those math skills to add in the tax. It's always fun during book fair.
