Discovering Tomorrow s Leaders Today

WFES nurtures the development of leadership skills in all students by providing opportunities to participate in school-wide and classroom leadership jobs. These jobs include recycling leaders, birthday song leaders, daily newscast leaders, and greeters. Our school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program rewards appropriate student behavior with incentives such as ticket exchanges, bowling fieldt rips and other recognitions.
Each month, we recognize one leader from each classroom who has exhibited the Habit of the Month at our Leadership Assembly. These students get to enjoy Pizza with the Principal afterward. The last Leadership Assembly highlights a student from each class that has consistently exhibited all 7 Habits across the course of the year.
