STEM Night

 A Modern Tradition

STEM Night has become an annual event at our school, inviting WFES families and the local community to see all of the amazing things our school and community partners have to offer in the way of STEM opportunities for our students. In partnership with local organizations such as Schoolyard Roots, UA Space, UA Engineering, AU Engineering, and UA Education, our students and teachers create an interactive gallery featuring the activities, lessons, and integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in our school. 
At STEM Night 2022, Math stole the show. From Green Screen Word Problems to the Math ToolBox Station, our students, teachers, and community partners taught our families about the different math strategies they use in the classroom, and how the other aspects of STEM integrate with Math.
